Crystal glass has a higher refractive index than the glass used for most pressed or lamp work purposes so has a lovely sparkle, brilliantly brought out by the clever cutting of surfaces, sometimes further enhanced with an AB finish. 

Clear finish beads are a single colour that spin the light delicately on the cut edges; AB finish beads have a surface coating on some of the sides of the bead so that as they turn as well as sparkling on the cut edges they also reflect where the aurora borealis effect picks up the light.

Available as crystal rounds, crystal rondelles, crystal bicones, crystal drops, crystal hearts and many other shapes these beads are available in a variety of sizes and colours.

Crystal beads can be made in clear crystal glass, plain coloured crystal glass or coated in special finishes.

AB (Aurora Boealis) is the most common finish giving the beads an iridescent rainbow shine. Double AB is double the sparkle of AB.

Metallic finishes such as Arum & Argentum;  the tinted finishes Bermuda Blue & Copper Capri and Iris or Scarab finishes are also available.

Diamante beads, chatons (individual pointed-back diamante stones) and pre-set diamante stones are also in this section along with Window Crystals to turn the sunlight into a scattering of little rainbows around your home.
